I've been posting art on Newgrounds for almost two years now while improving my abilities. My art is very unnoticed, but I've never really minded. I just create things for my own enjoyment and I just post because it looks cool on my profile. I haven't been actively hoping to be scouted at all throughout my time on this website; however, this has changed recently since I found out all participants in this year's NG secret santa need to be approved artists. Since I really enjoyed being in it last year, I decided to actively post art this week in an attempt to get scouted. I made multiple drawings to the best of my ability and posted each of them over the past few days. I even made my goal obvious in the descriptions of those posts. None of this worked so I just want to hear from other artists: are there any methods to getting scouted?
If you want to get scouted, you need to make an art with a good quality, as we always say:
Quality > Quantity
The important thing here is to focus on quality such as shading, lighting, maybe using hue colors to shade colors, for example:
White = Lighter Blue shade
Red = Dark Violet
I got unscouted for seething in the forums

The best way to get scouted is to go back to the mindset you had before you wanted to get scouted. Make stuff you enjoy making, work hard on improving, and post the things you consider your best work, so that you can look at your Newgrounds gallery and say to yourself: "Yeah, that's pretty good actually." Forcing something is, generally speaking, never a good idea in life. If you're pushing hard to get scouted and making it obvious that it's a deliberate attempt to become an approved artist, it becomes sort of meaningless, doesn't it? Someone probably will scout you, but it will be more of a friendly gesture to help you attain your goal. Wouldn't it feel much better to get scouted by someone who genuinely liked your art and thought it deserved the attention?
My advice: do your best and it will happen when it happens. Newgrounds Secret Santa isn't going anywhere - you can always participate next year.

Its ironic because most of my drawings are black and white but im scouted. The reason behind on it is my recent artworks are colored now
