im proud of the progression made & that I’m still making, wanting to improve all around when I came back to NG. I’m very happy with what I’ve progressed to and I hope to show much more improvement to come.

Like you I don't have any of my old traditional art (much of it got destroyed by accident, no matter how well I hid it). In fact I only started saving my digital works about... 6 years ago maybe? 7? Not sure. But I'm going to try to find the oldest work in my hard drive and compare it with the newest.

(ok I couldn't find which is the oldest so I just picked what I assume is one of the oldest)

Done with a mouse on Paint.NET. Had to use the pen tool because my mouse strokes weren't clean enough for my liking.

I feel like the main difference hasn't so much been actual skill improvement (though there probably has been some) but just having better tools and then getting used to using those tools.

I didn't really take drawing too seriously until the last five years or so, but I've been drawing on and off my whole life. There's much I still have to learn.

image on the left was back from 2014 and probably my first colored piece of digital art? back when i was using shitty browser drawing sites instead of an actual program lol. cut to a few years later and you've got a piece from the middle of 2019! it was for a charity zine so i put a whole lot of work into it, and i think this is where i really discovered my love for detailed outfits and shading fabric. not perfect but ive refined my sense of composition, coloring, and lineart a fair bit

as for recent work i think this is a good example!

i kind of ended up focusing on coloring as opposed to other aspects but i can make serviceable backgrounds now and im a lot more comfortable with making the poses more dynamic

I don't have so many things saved, so I will link my progress on Newgrounds, it is a short time but I improved a lot!

I used to try make my drawing look more semi-realistic but I decided that complex thing is not beauty one, so I redrew all my work to make them look close to canon.

Actually there I have troubles with grass and trees, I think not best one from latest.

I was super new to drawing on my laptop.
