Following others here. I've been posting my animations in my art thread I think it should get its own dedicated thread since I'm getting into animation for real now. Some bg, I've dabbed into this on and off before but never really stuck to it since I had a janky ass setup and couldn't do what I wanted.

Now I got some decent hardware its time to realize what was meant to be.

The old stuff:

First full animation, took almost a month. Idk how I even managed to make this one without exploding my laptop lol

Attempt at animating a more complex design and subtle movements like dancing, ref'd a sequence from Wink's cover of 'Where Were You Last Night'.

Randomly had an idea of doing video game-style particle fx where its just a still image. Easy effects and looks cool too.

Tried something abstract

One of the newer ones, tryna see if my muscle memory still intact.

First animation while binging an anim course from the high seas. Employed keyframes and inbetweens for the first time, turns out I've been doing it wrong the entire time like a dumb dumb and giving myself unnecessary headaches doing everything straight-ahead.

Currently working on this one, getting more serious now. Gonna add some cam fx later on. Using OpenToonz.

Anywho this turned out pretty well, might refine the cam anims a bit and then Imma give sounds a go. Some effects still look pretty jank but I dont feel like fixing them lol. Though I might do some fx studies next.

Added sounds and adjusted the cam to give a better transition during the speed scene. Used DaVinci Resolve for editing. Been hearing about this one a lot and now I've tried it this program is kickass, its like the Krita of video editors!

Now on to the next project!!

Whoo finally getting back to business! Some fx studies, could've done something more complicated but let's start with some simple stuff first, still trying to figure the damn crash-happy program and like to explore other options first so I can plan for more efficient workflows.

Been a hiatus for animation but I'm back bitches, gonna make a proper animation this time and its gon be in 3D. Some animatic until I ran out of ideas for the fight choreo, gonna binge some more ma flicks for inspi.
