I'm wondering what separates a loop from a song? I find myself struggling when it comes to figuring out if my music is a loop or a song every time I'm releasing something new lol
Is it a matter of how it's made? Or is it more about the structure?
Knowing the difference would help a ton when it comes to labeling my music correctly, I appreciate any help you guys can give :)

From what I know, loop is basically recurring, short sound (around 30 sec, but may be more), and anything else is considered a song.
I'm not entirely sure, but generally you can say "it's a loop" as long as it's able to loop smoothly. Often video game soundtracks are loops, but they don't have to be short, they just have to loop.

I'm pretty sure 'loops' on newgrounds automatically repeat in the player when the song is over. So most of the time if my track ends on its own I set it as 'song.'
