I tried to let you know

I wanted it to show

I told you that I want you

I always think about you

You just smiled and turned away

I’m lost and I’m alone

I need someone to hold

Guide me to that safe place

Where I’ll never be alone

The fire’s burning low

I’m cold and I’m alone

My body aches to hold you

And all My thinking is affected

I know that You’re protected

By walls I just can’t climb

So I wait for that moment so sublime

When you’ll say that you are mine

And I’ll be yours for all of time
