What are your thoughts on poems that aren't super deep, dark, or emotional? For me, I feel like they are ok, but not as impactful.

I don't think something has to be dark to be impactful.

As the guy above me said, something can be impactful without having to be dark and sad. I think maybe a week ago, I was curious about how an AI would write a poem from the POV of Hades, the ruler of the Underworld, and it was actually really sweet and wholesome when he spoke about his wife, Persephone. That poem wasn't sad or "deep" yet it still made an impact.
