Help with Flash FX 2022-05-17 20:33:25

Hey, first post here.

So you know the FX that have black bgs and how people remove those and make it translucent n stuff?

yeah i wanna do that

Only problem is I don't know how to do that, and haven't found any tutorials on it

Help with this would be appreciated.

I'm using Flash CS5.5 btw in case that's important.

I'm playing an internal game of solitare and consistently losing

Hi and welcome!

It's unclear what you are asking.

Try to explain again or provide an example and someone might be able to help.

Thanks, and I'll elaborate.

Some effect sprites have black backrgounds and I was wondering how to remove them, with no trace of it, like with colors of varying transparency.

Sorta like these:

What I have

Not sure if it has to be a movie-clip or just a graphic.

But in the properties, there should be blending options, wich you have several options for, wich you should probably set to 'screen'.

Oh, too late, ya figured it out...

Bit late on that, huh?

Yeah, hopefully anyone who comes across this thread finds it useful!
