If you've got some pals Duck Game is an incredibly stupid "arena" shooter.
If you want something single player and kinda short you can get the corridoor for a few bucks, it's a really weird indie game that tells a very loose but quite enjoyable story.

a short hike is a really good 1 hour game thats normally priced at 8$, and ultimate chicken horse is a phenominal party game to play with friends.

I second A Short Hike, it's a great game.
Party Hard is a fun one too, though I recommend getting it on sale. Otherwise, I'm not sure what kind of games you're into, so I can't really get very specific.
Hotline Miami 1 and 2 are pretty fun if you're into arcade style quick stuff where you do the level over and over again to perfect it.
Any of the 3D era GTA games are fun too if you're willing to mod them a bunch to make them play as good as the PS2 versions.

System shock... not system shock 2, I've played System Shock 2. I like the graphics of SS2 but the music is what carries the game imo
