Well, first: Yes. Second: a lot of grandpas make us drink wine and other shit when we are like 7 unironically. Third: that's the most racist thing I've ever heard in a long time... However, yes I probably know her and yes, her name is pretty common here
Eh. Erase racism from your personal dictionary... racism was not intended, and... racism doesn't exist. Thanks for replying though. You made me wanna drink red wine... mm...

But you probably know Miriam??? That's excellent!
I was joking
Aw so you probably don't know her... oh wellz.
I was talking about the racist thing, but yeah
If that's true, tis awesome that she hangs around here... never thought she'd follow me, but she did. Who would've thought I'd ever become a source of inspiration(fuel)? Not me at least...

Dunno bro, maybe she still consider you as a friend

It's just a random gesture commonly used in Southern Italy just to indicate your doubt about somethinng.

Like "WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING?"

Ok. I'll take a crack at this. What's your take on fictional Italian and Italian-American characters that blur between the lines of compelling to stereotypical? By that I mean every single character that has had at least one stereotype to their name, from serious characters like Vito Corleone to more wacky characters like Mario "Jumpman" Mario.

Well, that's a good question... A very good one. I must say that every one of them can be repetitive if done in the same way over and over. For example, I would appreciate more an Italian John Wick from Neapolis instead of the same mafia guy who talks in a kind of Sicilian accent. That's why I prefer characters like Fio, which her character isn't based around being Italian and shit

An equally great answer thank you. I got two more. One not so serious, but one serious. In the not so serious category, what is the proper way to bite your thumb at someone you don't like? I'm quite curious about the universal ways of flipping people off, for example instead of using the middle finger, China has a variant where you show your pinky finger. With Italy I've only seen it in two ways, both within the fictional setting. The first way was the Olivia Hussey version of Romeo and Juliet, the Capulet that started the fight rubs his thumb across his teeth, out his mouth and spits at the same time. Whereas in the Simpsons, which I believe was more of an exaggerated version, had one stick all their fingers in their mouth and do the same motion.

The more serious question, in relation to Romeo and Juliet, have there ever been a lot of infamous family feuds in Venice and Rome?
