Developing a game with Wick Editor!

I currently making a game centered around Wick Editor using, well, Wick Editor. It's obviously looks terrible since I am using a trackpad instead of my iPad (which helps me produce WAY better art), but some criticism HOPEFULLY would slightly help. It's currently on itch.io and can only be accessed via a link. It's completion is very unlikely. But if it does end up getting completed then I'll upload the game here on Newgrounds (and then it'll probably get blammed or get low ratings).

Please give some criticism and help. I really need it.

It’s the first version of the game and it’s pretty crap! The first test (another name for minigames in the context of the game) is practically complete although I MAY have to update graphics eventually.

I made a Newgrounds Preview of the game.

This update features the following:

• 60 FPS
• Half-working collision and a background for the 2nd test.

So yeah, not much really.

I'm planning to change the theme of the game. It'll take quite the while. I'll have to change the assets and make them look more polished. Medibang Paint'll probably do the job. And there's an exam coming next week which'll last 2 weeks and which I'll have to study for. I'll try to take my time and pump out another [hopefully decent] update sooner or later.

• Small code changes for a slightly smoother experience.
• Small aesthetic changes to the 2nd test.
• Got rid of unnecessary objects not on the main screen.
• The unintentionally hidden text on the Continue Dialogue Button (yes that's what it's called) in the 1st test has been removed.

• Framerate reduced to 36 FPS to make the 'Wick eating a bread' animation look a bit more comprehendible. Don't worry, nothing was sacrificed.
• Title screen and Death screen are a bit more animated.
• More facial expressions in the 1st test.

THE itch.io VERSION WILL STILL GET FREQUENT UPDATES AS WELL!

I've noticed that whenever you press the UP and DOWN keys, the website immediately scrolls down. As a [hopefully temporary] fix, I've added in two more control styles:

For normal folks:

A S D

For the mad:

• Added in dialogue functionality. Click on anything interactive and a dialogue box will appear and then disappear.
• Changed the 'Wick eating a bread' scene a bit.

Work on the game is slowing down due to examinations currently taking place, although my
interest in completing the project still remains. I am currently working on ways to squeeze the
first test in just one frame (well, the gameplay part anyways). Apart from that, development is
going well, if not a bit slower than usual.

Exams are coming up so no updates for about two weeks are so.
Also here are my plans for this game:
* There will be only three arcade machines in the arcade room.
* The end be a short minigame related to bread.
* This game will be tiny when finished (since this WAS made to test the waters).
* I’ll be moving to HaxeFlixel (or any other 2D game engine) for bigger projects although I’ll
  still be using it for animations and will promote it.
* This game’ll definitely get blammed.
