Codex Qualux (Universe Eternity)

A species composed of multiple objects of various shapes size and uses, the Qualux hail from the planet Aaguraz in the Gewqyiic system.

THE PLANET

Aaguraz is a world with a diameter of 17,429 kilometers, gravity of 1,7 g, a rotational period of one day, an orbital period of 197 days, and an orbital distance of 98,20 million kilometers. With an atmosphere of 64% CO2, 27% CH4, 6% water vapor (H2O), and 3% XE. Followed by an atmospheric pressure of 0,7 atm (709,275 millibars). That orbits the blue star Gewqyiic.

Aaguraz has a weak magnetic field, due to low electrical conductivity and production within its core, when combined with proximity towards Gewqyiic's electrical activity, results in it to weaken immensely 

Gewqyiic experiences instabilities in its double layers, caused by a sudden influx of excess electrical power from the star's Birkeland current, resulting in the double layers releasing its stored energy out into several different forms, these being radio waves, UV light, X rays, and high energy Gamma rays, combined with standard radiation showers, results in Aaguraz's surface becoming a radioactive wasteland.

Due to the high energy gamma rays, the dense rocky surface is broken down into various small and heavy elements from titanium and potassium to uranium and platinum, that's sent out into the air as dust, resulting in a high degree of radioactive material within the atmosphere and further ecological impact, electrical activity reinforces this effect.

Despite the low production of electricity, it's filled with geological activity from Gewqyiic's current. From extreme quakes, sinkholes, geysers, and active volcanos, with said volcanos producing high amounts of magma and volcanic ash, creating new islands. While the ash stops most radiation in prime areas, this does result in these areas to go through nuclear winter.

There is the presence of great wind storms resulting from electrical currents, with these storms growing in scale with those on pre-terraformed Mars, engulfing incredible swaths of land.

additionally, Aaguraz goes through extreme weather in the form of hurricanes ranging from cat 4 to cat 9, tsunamis over 72 meters in height, tornados, and general severe weather.

While the surface of Aaguraz is barren and radioactive, the ocean is teeming with life. Due to water and metal compounds acting as a shield against radiation, only the water's surface is irradiated or released as vapor, while the deepest parts of Aaguraz's oceans are relatively safe and filled with a rich array of life due to geothermal activity.

However, even with the harsh and destructive conditions on the surface. Life has evolved here, and here is where the Qualux have developed and grown on their planet of Aaguraz.

BIOLOGY

The Qualux are exotic-matter and primarily boron-based lifeforms with weight ranging from 23 to 41 kilograms, and height and width varying between the number of objects and how far they extend.

The most unique of the Qualux's biology is their physical forms. Unlike the majority of life in the galaxy, their bodies aren't one fully connected body. Instead, their bodies are made up of several objects called quensettox connected via a force-field that transmits energy and signals instantaneously called the enspew, allowing a Qualux to operate its body at incredible distances. 

The outer layer of the quensettoxs are composed of an exotic-material that can absorb and disperse electromagnetic waves and radiation, allowing a Qualux to withstand the massive bursts of radiation that inflicts the planet. This material can also feed a Qualux via solar energy, and can make a Qualux invisible to electromagnetic-based detection systems. Additionally, these properties of the material can be changed or manipulated as well, resulting in different effects, one such example is being able to gather solar energy from artificial lighting and light-reflecting off the surface of a moon.  

Attached or within the quensettoxs are small ring-like objects that act as both emitters and receivers for energy and signals transmitted through the enspew.

Each quensettox can produce a field that allows a Qualux to phase through matter, this is done by manipulating the electrons of matter. Additionally, it causes the side-effect of allowing matter to be manipulated at a molecular level.

The quensettox are used to communicate as well, with communication done by changing their colors and rearranging themselves into different patterns.   

In addition to the general properties of the quensettox, each one has a specialized use for different fields and situations that are identified by their shape. Below is a list of these different quensettoxs and their abilities.

Cordiplasim: The cordiplasim holds the brain, directs the actions of the other quensettox, and holds Omni-directional vision. It has the shape of a ball-like object surrounded by three pyramid-shaped objects in a triangular pattern, the brain is made of platinum.

Solarstorim: The solarstorim is used to collect solar energy to feed a Qualux. While all quensettox have solar energy collecting properties, they are inefficient in some respects, leading to the use of the solarstorim for collecting solar energy due to its large size and state. Its shape is that of a large disk with stripes in the center.

Bactarowu: The bactarowu is used to store energy collected from the solarstorim for later use. It has an oval-like shape.

Omnugravedceg: The omnugravedceg is an anti-gravity generator used to allow the Qualux's quensettox to float and hover in the air, and can move the quensettox at speeds of up to 25 kilometers per hour. Its shape is that of a small orb.

Omnuselzevp: The omnuselzevp is the enspew force-field generator, and the main transmission system of the Qualux's energy and signals from and to other quensettox, essentially acting as the "spine" and "skeleton." It has the shape of a rectangle with three orbs attached to it.

Gevcennuw: The gevcennuw is used in storing matter, producing and repairing other quensettox, and for reproduction. It has a torus-like shape surrounded by two rectangles and a fin-like object.

Ragfysterrin: The ragfysterrin is used to radiate heat produced by the other quensettox, its shape is that of two large fins connected to a square.

Hynplasim: The hynplasim are hands with three digits at the end of them. They are composed of both muscles and emitters for the manipulation of objects.

In addition to these quensettox's, Qualux's in different regions utilize other types of quensettox to help in their environment. One example is the Qualux that live in the ocean, they use a quensettox used in displacing water, acting as an underwater propulsion system.

The Qualux reproduce asexually in stages by first making the cordiplasim and a pair of hynplasim via the gevcennuw. After three months, a Qualux is born. At which point, it remains attached to the parent while the parent continues making its other quensettox. After each month, the parent will produce a quensettox for its young and teach it how to use them. After roughly a year, the parent's child will detach from it and move on its own.

CULTURE AND GOVERNMENT

The Qualux don't understand language or writing in the traditional sense. Instead, they can only read or speak using colors, patterns, and symbols. This has affected their writing, with books and other written pieces done using different colored orbs and symbols in various forms.

Due to their physical makeup and abilities, Qualux are more willing to take physical risks than other species. Extending their hands into hazardous environments to work or gather items, to phasing through solid matter to get materials, and even moving near the surface of a sun.

They also prefer to perform actions from afar then up-close as well and prefer sneaking and tactics over confrontation.

The Qualux worship their planets and star as gods. Believing them to represent their physical bodies, and that they were created by these gods to give them a view of life and entertainment.

The Qualux often perform rituals to their gods by dancing, rhythmically moving their quensettox, and moving objects at various heights and distances.

The Qualux generally have a joyful and comedic personality, playing practical jokes and pranks, entertaining people, and act upbeat and playful. However, due to their harsh environment and physical form, some of these jokes and pranks can sometimes be cruel or even harmful to some species.

Qualux are incredibly adept at stealth, so much so that they are known as one of the greatest at infiltration. Leading them to be used in anything from stealing secrets to scaring someone.

They have an incredibly industrialized space industry. Even in their early history, they were able to set up great space stations and facilities with ease due to their abilities. Even mapping and setting colonies throughout their solar system early as well.

As a result of their biology, the Qualux have heavily modifiable ships. Such as changing forms, breaking down into several smaller forms, and adding or replacing modules and rooms.

One popular sport among the Qualux is phase-geometry racing. In this sport, nine contestants compete by outrunning the other in an obstacle course. The obstacles in question vary, from large walls of solid matter to only a few entrances surrounded by traps and hazards, that the contestants need to get across by using their abilities. If one of them scores five points by completing a lap via a honeycomb-like structure, the person wins.

The second most popular sport is spacecraft. Where a Qualux's to make an object in space while he's to stay on the planet's surface. This is considered an extremely challenging yet fun game of strategy and multitasking.

Another fun pastime is the game Zatcha. Where one Qulaux spins several balls of varying size at high speeds, while the other tries to grab them with either its hands or by other means.

Qualux government is composed of eight members called the Xecez. Each member represents and holds a position vaguely similar to the eight prime quensettox of Qualux biology each called Xec.

These are the Xec-Cord: In charge of forming new laws and policies, foreign relations, and military actions above the Xex-Hynp.

Xec-Zevp: In charge of enforcing laws and distributing resources and amenities.

Xec-Solar: In charge of trade, and energy and food production.

Xec-Bactar: In charge of maintaining and securing key industries.

Xec-Graceg: In charge of running and maintaining transportation.

Xec-Ragfys: In charge of waste and resource management.

Xec-Gevcen: In charge of health and safety, industry, education, and civilian welfare.
