As fun as it was watching Mr. Layhe mutate into liqour "I am the Liqour"..... it was extremely painful to watch him in the latter episods. With his face all grey like that.... I worked with alot of drunks at the homeless shelter getting better. Like they'd be drinking Lysol or Listerene, then fall down very hard on an esclator. Sadly alot of them were native.
Because the Mustard Seed was a homeless church ministry. you'd have a drunk redneck flipping out of how Demons and the Devil was trying to destory him. And you had to work some sort of religious context in a recovery program promoting that the Devil only did this because, he was scared of him (drunk), trying to appeal to his kick ass whup ass redneck sensibilities.
However, oddly I found Layhe's drunk pissing out a car while driving down the streets of Halifax funny. It's a balance. Wish they'ed show more episodes in winter, instead of just the summer shots, or the Christmas episode.
