Hey, I've been meaning to create an art thread here on Newgrounds for awhile, but I never mustered up the courage until now. I think it would be interesting to see my progress throughout the days, months and years.
I draw a lot of stuff that I don't post anywhere so here is the dumping ground for my art. Enjoy I guess.
Here's a dude I drew at random. I went a bit overboard with the blending I hate it when this happens but who cares.
Here are some sketches of people with caps.
I'm not happy with the lower left one just so you know.
Just sam random stuff I don't even know. I like drawing faces that's all.
I wasn't really happy with these ones, they were warm ups they did they're job.
With this one I didn't even bother finishing the hand, I sometimes have a hard time keeping my concentration on one piece I always want to jump on the next one. I guess this one was a value study so it's fine.
Here comes the monkey train.
I hate the teeth on the one on the right.
I really want to go back and see what I was thinking when I was drawing the monkey on the upper left corner.
I wish I could draw more monkeys in the future.
Here's a master study of one of Mead Schaeffer's paintings. I'm not really happy with the result cause of proportion issues and not being able to understand his shape quite as well.
I did not colour pick his colours, for some reason I got in my head I should use red, green and blue and blend them with white and black to get his colours. It was hard but I somewhat managed it.
Yet another one attempt to copy Schaeffer's paintings. I am much more happier with this despite it's easier composition.
I'm a big fan of his paintings I would try to do more master studies of his and give them more time.
Landscape painting, not a big fan of those but you gotta do what you gotta do.
The brush you're using is holding back your expressive linework. Your execution is good, but the tool is keeping it at a cap.

Yeah that's something I'm working on, I'm constantly adjusting brushes and trying to find my voice with them.
Do you have any suggestions on how I can approach this matter?
Some life drawing mixed with something from yours truly.
I tried doing something different, I guess they look like nagas or something like that.
More nagas and randomly sprinkled life drawings.

Imitating other stylized linework from simple to complicated can show you how restrictive or versatile your brush can be. Creating a textured brush from scratch, while technical and extremely experimental, can be rewarding and a nice change of pace from doing usual studies.

I am really enjoying all the artistic artwork you make they are very beautiful pieces so keep making creative and artistic pieces love the shades and detail on these
