Damn, thats pretty harsh. There were some major pace issues and the tonal bait-and-switch was unwelcome and annoying at best, but there were some memorable scenes in it.

...A mother is struck with grief that her son died. She then whispers that it might be best if they tell the story from the beginning so the audience gains some context. The movie, for whatever reason, cuts to the primordial fucking soup. Motherfucking dinosaurs. Finally, we arrive in the 1960's where fuck all happens for the rest of the movie. An eternity passes. Credits roll.
