Best of 2011 and 2012

So this really awkward thing happened where we've let a lot of time slip by without announcing the Best of 2011 or the Best of 2012.

I was gonna write a big story about what these past few years have been like but I'll save you the emo sob story. To sum it up, we had to set very strict priorities with money and it was hard to prioritize getting a new batch of trophies made, which made it hard to follow through with finalizing the winners.

Ultimately though, THE SHOW MUST GO ON and a new batch of trophies is coming.

I have a final list of winners in the categories for Movie of the Year, Game of the Year, Musician of the Year and User of the Year for 2011 and 2012.

Winners for 2011 will be announced on July 5th.

Winners for 2012 will be announced on July 12th.

Don't forget, Robot Day is July 10th!

We are currently testing the new publishing system, which should fix the bugs with the current publishing system. Sorry again for all the broken thumbnails / failed publish attempts.

Now if we can just get caught up on that Treasure Hunt...

you should definitely add it to the newgrounds history page, even if its just in bulletpoint form. and just link to it. everything should be documented, the downs as well as the ups.

So, just curious, did you actually know who the winners were gonna be all this time? Maybe in the future you could just announce the winner and send a trophy whenever/ifever it's available, lol. It's the thought that counts and all that. ^^

The 2011 lists were never completely finalized because all the judges didn't get their votes in and it was a tough year to judge. For 2012 I ditched the judging panel because I was very confident in the winners based on lots of conversations with people and my own gut. Oragami tanks would be cute.

who knows? maybe one day. I love Tom like a brother, so I dont want him thinking Im trying to throw him under the bus here, but for a company thats only a handful of people the going ons should be way more transparent..
