Personally, I don't think it's much of a project either. That first trailer, as other comments
have mentioned, looked really bleh and was packed with unnecessary effects. Big turnoff.

I pledged some money. I was turned off of doing so for a while though, because the amount of jump cuts used in the update videos was ridiculous. Honestly, what is the reasoning behind using so many jump cuts?

It sucks that this isn't reaching it's goal, I was really excited about this project... it also sucks that Newgrounds can't support this directly either (I'm guessing money problems is happening on all around).

I suggest the guys move any money they got from paypal and redeposit it into the kickstart fund.

also its demotivating to donate and see the final amount actually go down.

I donated, but really with how many young people (under 16) are on this website do you really expect them too be able to donate?

Because if you had asked me when I was 16 or younger I would not have been able too do shit.

Yeah, the bronies donated upwards of 12,000 to the humble bundle to beat out notch, maybe if we had them competing on this it would have reached the cap weeks ago

Indeed, but if some guy removed his $2000 pledge (which is what happened) then that's hard it prevent. Also worth mentioning that other people might withdraw their pledges as well, if it looks like this project is not going to get full funding.

I don't know much about Kickstarter except that everyone and their grandmother has one, but couldn't someone start up a PayPal account accepting donations and just wait until the goal is met?

If this Kickstarter fails (let's be honest here, $10,000 in 10 hours is gonna be hard to get), will there be a possibility of re-submitting the project, but with a revised budget (say, $18,000)?

I pledged $10. I guess all I can do is hope for the best from here.

^This right here. If this was front paged a month ago, it could have probably even exceeded its goal. The one banner there actually is, is very vague.
