One thing I was told early on in the art forum that has followed me ever since it was posted, dunno why, but the advice I got was to "add more detail". And when I thought it was good enough, add more detail again. Obviously, this doesn't apply to everything, but when making things like character designs and silly doodles such as this, more detail could never hurt. You should try making something a bit more effort consuming!

How did you do the shading this I know most of the work looks like it's from pencil but something about the dark shadows looks like you used some water paint.

I initially drew it in pencil and shaded it, i then wen over it again with a fine liner and i then got a cup of water and some brushes and went over it with that using the pencil shade and dine liner ink to my advantage
Back in the days of old when my tablet still worked i made this.
I was really lazy when i made this, didn't finish it.
