Stop the Pokemon abuse

Today, I'm making a stand for the freedom of Pokemon everywhere.

They've been captured, forced to battle, then stored in a box for the rest of their lives.
Do you guys think they like battling for the trainer's enjoyment? Why don't the trainers fight the battle for once? What about if the Pokemon they captured actually had a family to raise, and they were just getting food for their children? All the pain and suffering pokemon has to go through for the sake of their trainers...

I want you guys to go get your Pokemon, and start releasing ALL of them.

Does it hurt to know that I purposely make my Pokemon do useless attacks that don't do any damage so they will die. Afterwards I put them in the computer and never see them again. Then I go out and catch more to be in my helpless game of chess as my infinite pawns.

The thing is, in the games it's alright, since there is hardly any story about the Pokemon themselves. Plenty about the universe and such, but the most I've ever gotten about Pokemon was that one time in Lavender Town with the Cubone.

In the anime, the trainers are more sensible. They know they can't catch them all, so they gather up their dream teams.

Also, since it's all happy happy Japanese time, wouldn't you think some random Pidgey would think "Gee, I'd like to travel the world with some human and eat something else than Wurmples..."?
