If Flyers don't win stanley cup this year, they probably should think about getting a good goalie. Probably should have thought about getting niemi before sharks picked him up. Its ridiculous how talented the flyers can be at times but our goalies have never been all that great.

No matter what the Flyers try, they never can get a good goalie it seems.

What the hell is wrong with the flyers defense, they just got man handled even if the Bruins didn't score. Thats putting too much pressure on the goalie for the bruins offense to be on our side for like 3 minutes.

End of the 2nd, Bruins and Flyers still tied 2-2.

You're not missing much, even in a tied game this game seems to favor The Bruins. They are playing more aggressive on offense.

One thing I didn't forsee when I picked my college schedule for this semester which I wish I had: I can't see hockey for half the week because of night classes. Stellar.

I'm also watching the Bulls play the Hawks at the moment and then later tonight the Mavericks and Lakers but this is the nhl not nba hurr

So apparently it's been a tale of two games in this one, huh? Flyers opened things up with 2 quick goals, then the Bruins bounced right back to tie it. It's still currently tied, now a few minutes into the third period.

Flyers look much better in the 3rd period.

Flyers and Bruins are still tied at 2, heading into overtime.

And Boston takes game two in overtime by a score of 3-2.

Welp, then I layed down for a nap and before I knew it it was 9:15 in the evening. Oops.

Seems the Lightning have already handled matters down in Tampa, beating the Capitals 4-3 to take a 3-0 series lead. You disappoint me as my pick to win the cup this year, Washington. It's currently 1-1 midway through the second period between the Predators and Canucks.

Just another playoff dissapointment for the Capitals yet again, and I really thought that they were a changed team because they now started to play some defense for once. And I thought the Cleveland Cavaliers were the bigger chokers in the playoffs, but I guess the Caps now take the cake.

As for the Flyers, it was just piss-poor effort on their part, especially after they sat on a 2 goal lead early on, and allowed the Bruins to come back and win in OT. What made it worse is the fact that we had so many chances at getting more goals, especially in the 3rd period, and we didn't take advantage. FUCK!

I guess we have to come back from another defecit this time, just like last year. Now if we can only get some 60 minute goaltending from Brian Boucher, and someone other than Van Riemsdyk scoring goals more frequently, we can make a comeback in the series. If not, then we're riding upstream without a paddle, so to speak.

Story of the Chicago series as well, yet they came away limping and hobbling from that one. Predators are a better team than the Blackhawks, and also the fact that after Vancouver's pitiful display again the Hawks I can't pick them to win another game. The Preds have more than a chance to win, even if they're not at full strength.

Yeah, I guess I exaggerated when I said they had no chance. I just think the outcome of these games would be much different if Nashville had a different goalie. But that penalty that basically won the game for Vancouver just now was bullshit. Weber was clearly just trying to free his stick, but whatever, it works out positive for me.

Vancouver win 3 - 2 in OT, winning 2 - 1 in the series.

And the refs royally fuck up to lose it for the Predators. That was the absolute most ticky-tack hooking penalty I've ever seen in my life. Unbelievable. If the Preds lose this series in 7 games, this is why.

Game 3 of Bruins-Flyers is currently about midway through the second period. It's currently 2-0 Boston.

Game 4 of Lightning-Capitals is a few minutes into the second period, with Tampa leading 2-1. If Tampa Bay wins tonight, they move on to the conference finals.

Game 3 of Sharks-Red Wings is partway through the first period, and still scoreless.

Not quite yet, but it's 4-1 Bruins in the second intermission. Barring divine intervention, I think it's safe to say they're down 3-0.

Couple updates: Lightning-Capitals game is now 3-2 in favor of Tampa, and the Sharks have scored to go up 1-0.

Nick Lidstrom ties the game at 1-1 for the Wings, couldn't have come at a much better time in the first period.

I gotta hand it to the Lightning. Steve Yzerman is doing a fine job and they have Washington up against the wall. What is there not to like about this team?

This. After the first round we had, I was expecting much better series than we have now, besides Canucks-Predators. I in no way expected the Bruins, Sharks, and Lightning to be this dominant (though I guess I saw the Sharks' beat down coming).

Also, we'll more than likely set a record this year for most playoff games going into overtime.
