Well... all the works I do are from a blank canvas in photoshop.
Any criticism or advice is highly appreciated.

Great, you can select a brush and wave the mouse around on the screen. I'm fine with those stock brushes personally as long they're used sparingly and not the focus of a picture. In this picture though they're all that's there.
