Anyone ever do any work for an indie band? I'm designing album art and a poster for a local indie band for their first release and don't want to scare them away with a large hourly rate or a large flat rate, but I do also want to make my fair share.
Any advice would be appreciated.

I am best friends with some people in a band and a lot of the time I do stuff for free, but I decided to start charging. What are some examples of your work? Because like now I charge a little less than minimum wage for them (both cause i'm not super professional or anything and also they're my friends)
