I loved the blam and saving the most.
You only got to view them when you are the deciding vote to Blam a submission or to Save it, so it's pretty rare to see them, but when you do it was pretty exciting.
Also, you were able to see the whistle one each time you flagged a submission after you added the reasons and such, which is pretty rare as well.

Well, the phrase "The something of the future, Today!" is generally used to indicate that a product, or service, or whatever, it way ahead of it's time, and the competition, and it's something that you WANT. Saying "The Problems of the Future, Today!" is sort of making fun of it, because you don't really want the problems...

That would be so fucking confusing.

Agreed. I prefer being forced to keep a name, unless a user approves of it. I mean, our avatars are weapons and auras. I think it's pretty balanced right now.
Someone changing their name could also be rather troublesome and they could use it to stir up trouble. I mean, yeah, mods can still see IP Addresses, but in the short run, trouble.
All of what's been said is far before my time (since i signed up last week)
But I think having gems (or some kind of code) for views would be awesome!
Maybe, the better gems you got ALSO added to your Voting Power?
Or perhaps, another way of looking at it could be; 'ranking up' in the gems system gave you bonus exp? I'm sure we all agree that levelling up takes the piss once your past level 7 or something.
First track is in production, not long now.

You weren't a user back then.

You can still do it by simply contacting Tom Fulp or other admins.
Just write a few lines about why, what etc.

Because it was yesterday and now it's today which is tomorrow and thus the problems of two days in the future, dum dum.

Whaddya mean? We've submitted dozens of movies this month. Hell even I got off my rump and made one AND IT'S A WHIZ-BANG I TELL YA WOT!
We just kind of got distant from the NG community for a while. Largely because the BBS is pretty awful and no one wanted to go here. Which is kind of partially why I'm here.

And every year, Clocks submit their big movie of the year on clock day. I've even started mine, I'm hoping to get a head start on it this time instead of ending up a tidge late last year.

I think you still can actually. But you have to PM Tom or one of the admins and have to be really lucky due to god knows how many PM's they get a day.

idk if anyone has said it already but they should bring back daily emails of new flash by your favorite artists, or at least notifying you in some other way. why would they even take that feature away?

Yea, I had one back in 2004 under JackMyHillBilly and just left it but came back the end of 09.
