I have to agree. I really DOUBT it that would happen, but it's not bad taking some precautions just in case.

But if spam groups start to upload unsuitable icons or replace the ones we've already made, then I'm going to contact an administrator or post it in the evolution thread, like Ismael would do.

I just hope spammers never read this conversation so now they would start doing it :/

Well, actually I'm keeping an eye to the icons I've made so far. To be honest, that's the main reason of why I put in my blogs all the icons I've made, to check if the author changes them for unsuitable icons. That's what I call, moderation :P
I just like doing things GOOD, without any flaws and trying to give the best of me. Also, it would be painful if I see a user that changes all of the icons to anything random/unsuitable. Imagine if Tom launches the redesign with those icons :P

And if the user is still persistent by uploading again that pic, ban that user from uploading profile pics forever and leave to him the Tankmen pic as a punishment. Although banning would be kinda stupid, because we want to make icons for everyone. Or maybe not. Maybe, what if they are people submitting stuff completely unrelated and against the rules (icon rules?), that would mean we would have to make icons for him every time he makes a new flash. And coming to think about it, we are the only mods that can't ban people :P

Maybe we could just ban the user from uploading icons on that flash only. But again, let's focus more on flash icons right now.

Making icons for audio wouldn't be easy. It's more difficult to make a picture related to an audio submission than to make one for a flash submission. While you just can take a screenshot of the flash, in most cases it's impossible to make a picture based on a song/loop.

The thing is that other mods do certain things that the rest of the users shouldn't know about, like accessing certain private areas of the site. So they need a private place where they can discuss all of that stuff. On the other hand, we icon mods don't do anything secret, so we don't need a private place to talk about the non-secret things we do.
