I think it's becuase I moved out of a hellhole and in with my boyfriend
now that i'm relaxed and happy I can work and just draw...instead of freak out and worry about everything

Depending on the artist, but in this case I`d say yeah they are...
I agree with the guy above me (rhunyc? I think; cba to check) that you need to make her a bit more womanly (wider hips) unless you want her to look 13...

Looking back at your pic; the hips isnt really the problem... you could still widen them a bit; as well as the shoulders/breasts. Mostly though; I think its the head size that makes her look young. Heads grow a lot less than the rest of your body, so younger poeple have relatively large heads. Perhaps you can experiment with that a bit while keeping it in your style (if you want to, that is...)

If I alter her bodytype she won't be the same person which is the frustrating part, but I fixed her head a bit and I like it and she looks older in the silhouette

i think she looks her age now :D thanks for the help
it's mostly the face shape that did the trick

I took a quick break and added some more things
I might remove the straps, but I also kinda like them

Yeah, they feel a bit out of place style wise. I think it would be better if you drew your own flowers.

The flowers do look slighty out of place but aren't that bad. What I think lets it down is the face. The glasses and hair and the rest of it are good but the facial features (eyes, nose, mouth, ears) need more/deeper shading &or seem to be positioned wrong. If you fixed that up I think it'd be really good.

I did a bit of quick overlay running between your image and the model pose. It appears that you made the left arm and the torso a bit longer, whereas the left leg is about the same length and the right leg is shorter.

is this better?
