The Continuing Story Collaboration

I am starting a collaboration where I start a story and the next person has to add a part and they keep going until the story is done. Basically, I will animate the beginning of a story and then I will send it to the next person on the list. Once they finish their part of the story they will send their part to me as a fla document and then I will send it to the next person on the list and this will go on until the story ends.

Here are the rules:

1) Each animation can not exceed 40 seconds.
2) Once u finish your part you must send it to me in a PM using a file sharing website like mega upload.
3) You must put your username or regular name in the bottom right corner of your part of the animation.

4)?

10) Me

If I could get more than 10 people that would be great. So if u want to enter or if u have any questions, just leave a reply below or PM me.

I will update the list so everyone can see which number they have.

Good idea, but I see no flash specs, and you don't even have enough submissions to have a BA.

Since the OP is starting the process, I imagine all of the specs would already be set up in the .fla he passes on. The only thing I see that needs clarification is which version of flash is required.

i also have an idea...

how about, each part of the story is written as a narration, and one person narrates the story. each animator then uses the specific section of the narration that they wrote for thier part?

Ha, I wanted to do something like this not too long ago. I'll be in if you allow sprite work because I can't animate in any other manner. So yeah, if sprites are allowed I'll do it and if not then I'm still very interested in how it turns out.

Remember though that if you get too many people involved then we won't be able to coauthor everyone. So perhaps it's best if when we get to the limit and end it there and then we go on to the second part of the story which is continued with the other authors.

What I'm saying is instead of having one submission where people won't be coauthored perhaps we should have into a series so it's fair for everyone.

So I'm a little confused.

The op is already in a collab thats almost the exact same idea to this called Go on Collab and he makes a new thread about it again because he wants to run it instead? He doesn't even meet the collab requirements to start one, plus its a duplicate thread anyways.

I thought there was a rule for duplicate collab threads? Isn't there?
