New Audioartists; Pirates Va Only!

- In respect to the Pirate Voice Acting Contest, some might want to submit to the contest, but never submitted anything to the Audio Portal before.

- For those of you who don't know, when you submit your first piece to the AudioPortal, you need to be approved by an Audio Moderator.

- To make things as smooth as possible for everyone who wishes to contribute and compete in the Pirate VA contest, but aren't approved yet - You are warlmy welcome to post in here, and we'll try to give these Pirates a skip in the "awaiting approval-que" (since ALL new audio artists end up in the same list!). The submission rules can be found on the audio submissions page. Basically, you are NOT allowed to submit anything that contatin even a millisecond of a sample from copyrighted material. Best thing is to NOT make covers either, though if you feel confident of the rules, it is OK to do so.
Pure MIDI-rips are frowned upon, and even if you're making something for the VA-contest, it's best to avoid these.

TL;DR
- New audio artists submitting for the pirate contest can post here, and they will have their submissions more rapidly under investigation by an audio-mod and (hopefully:) get approved!

I would eneter this, but, I have been banned from the Audio Potal for no apparent reason. I have not gotten a PM or email about it. All I did was put up a song I made. I want to know what happened!

For some reason, the audio portal rejects the Mp3 file I try to upload. Its only 22Khz and 59 seconds long so I dont see why this is happening.

the problem is that you're trying to submit a file that has samplerate of 22kHz. It must be 44.1kHz, or else it won't be accepted.
When you export your audio - whatever software you may be using - make sure the samplerate is 44.1kHz.

I am not completley sure since i didn't ban you myself, but i would assume that you've made the loop out of pre-made loops? basically, that's not your own creation. anyone can take three pre-made loops an throw them together DUPLO-style.
There is no blam-system in the AP, but the line has to be drawn somewhere.
