1. humantarget52 12/15/99 M 15,006 What is a furry?
2. Pimp 12/15/99 M 14,986 STEALTHFYTER

In 3 days, Pimp would be level 30 and when he deposits it will do the same thing that human target would have done. So you would have to kidnap Pimp too.

3. Shrapnel 12/16/99 M 14,769 The University of Sydney

22 days after that, Shrapnel would pass him and It would start over again, so that would be 3 people you would have to kidnap.

4. -bomb- 12/15/99 M 14,754 none

2 days after that, -bomb- would pass him and it would begin to happen again.

So basically, kidnapping the top 3 would get you about 3 1/2 weeks of non-level 30 depositing.

5. BlueAsterisk 12/15/99 M 13,983 none

Since there is a huge gap between 4 and 5, you would have about 2 1/2 months worth of it if you kidnapped -bomb- as well.

So basically, you would have to kidnap the top 17-18 or so to get a years worth of easier leveling up.

The point is... Don't lose your dinosaur.

Then let's just kidnap them all! And we make a pact, that whoever reachs number 1 again, has to kidnap them selves!

Riiiiiiight. How many people would reach number 1 AGAIN? Wouldn't it be easier to ask (or seeing how far you would go to keep the highest exp 15,006 so our VP is easier to get, force) Tom to increase the amount of exp required to get to 5 base VP (eg, level 2=50exp, level3=150, level4=300, level5=500, etc)? And who would kidnap themselves? I wouldn't.

wowzers, then we would let them all free at the same time, and everyone would have high exp(except noobs offcourse) and we would have like 500 level 30s!

Congrats, 8 is my current VP goal, for it's halfway to the maximum VP possible of 16. (which could be only attained if the lev 30 user b/p's their way up to EGSC)

Sadly, it would be 4 days, still. HT keeps waiting until the last minute to deposit these days, or at least the last few hours. He was at 15,016 later that day, still 30 ahead of Pimp.

We can only hope that the servers go down again around 9 PM or something on a day when he's waiting till the last minute... and stay down past midnight to rob him of his deposit. Mwahaha! #;-}>

Yeah, congrats Brainy. Next update'll be happening in about a week.

Not only is 8 halfway to the possible max of 16 (though really, since you get to 5.00 when you hit level 9, you should probably say that 10.50 is closer to a true halfway point, since it's halfway between 5 and 16), but it also puts you higher than WAY more than half the people. #;-}>

By my calculations... when you hit 8.00 VP, you're in the top 0.0500% of users on NG...

meanwhile, being above 10.00 VP puts you in the top 0.0075%. #;-}>

A user that hits level 10 and the Elite Guard at the same time only has a voting power of 5.97... you're not going to be level 10 for nearly three months and you're nowhere near the EG... you'll have to start blamming seriously or it will be a long wait.

gfox, here's some profile numbers that I've noticed are in the bottom end of the top 500 in exp which may or may not be included in your spreadsheet:

227036, 414253, 415615, 436087, 236150, 408898, 188432, 432154, 339908, 358508, 402054, 153673, 433383, 426667, 428241, 130122

Chances are you have most (if not all) of these, but it can't harm to post them up to see.

in case of same exp points it's the one who deposited first that sets the new levelbarriers (or how do you call it)

Actually, that's incorrect. If you take a look at the bottom of the Top 50 Users (Experience) list, you'll find something pertaining to what happens when two users have the same Experience. And this is what it says.

Top 50 Criteria: The Top 50 is established based on the total amount of experience points and the date of sign up. When two users have the same amount of experience points, the one with an earlier sign-up date will be ahead on the list. Sign up early, and get lots of experience!

Of course, I'm really only going by what I see here on the site. There's always the possibility that the system has changed since the above paragraph was posted on NG. But yeah, I just figured I'd help get the information out there. Hope this helps, guys.

Okey dokey. Lemme search teh excel file for 'em.

IAMCrZyJoe - 227036 - DIDN'T have him (egad, 4 b/p and no posts?), thanks
RoboTripper - 414253 - have him
Ghaleonx5z - 415615 - DIDN'T have him (and he's on the top 50 poster list, weird... O_o)
KoRnFreakeR - 436087 - have him, of course!
Diamos - 236150 - have him
wismty - 408898 - have him, of course!
ZMMX - 188432 - DIDN'T have him (only 43 b/p and no posts... yep)
Vertigo200 - 432154 - DIDN'T have him (456 b/p and 79 posts... tricksy!)
SantoNinoDeCebu - 339908 - have him (one of the first I added to NGling's list)
fourdaddy - 358508 - have him
Mercurius - 402054 - have him
DizzyBum - 153673 - have him
GrifMoNeY - 433383 - DIDN'T have him (15 b/p and 9 posts)
DarkTure - 426667 - DIDN'T have him (2488 b/p!!! egads.... O_O)
Quantilho - 428241 - DIDN'T have him (1724 b/p... AGAIN... o_o)
jazz_mazter - 130122 - have him

7 new ones out of 16 total. Not bad, not bad. Thanks... next time, though... could you please search my most recent update's page for the names associated with teh IDs? Or at least post the names along with the numbers. I would have known right away not to bother taking the time to search for Kornfreaker and wismty's numbers, and also probably would have remembered definitely having RoboTripper, SantoNino, fourdaddy, Mercurius, and DizzyBum on the list already, they are teh familiar names to me from doing this list. But I don't have anyone's id memorised. #;-}>

Normally I would do - except I was just noting numbers of people who were above me in experience. I was copying in a way that was convenient for me when I updated my experience list. If I knew the names, I'd have given you the names as well. Although with the rate that some people change names, it may have been of limited value in some cases :-)

For some odd reason I think Wade would miss the ban on #52. A slight mistake on his part.

true, true. But like I said, it was for recognition purposes, not for profile search lookup or whatnot. So the names may have changed somewhat and still been recognisable as the same person. A lot of people change back and forth between 2 or 3 relatively similar names, for instance. Just look at Majin_____Man. He's been like 8 MegaMan characters over the past few months... though 4 or 5 different names before that (NaziClock, PentagramClock,Hotblondebitch666orwhatever, etc. etc. etc.).

The main reason names in addition to numbers would help is that I could just search the TEXT file version of my latest update for the names really quickly and easily, and thus eliminate anyone on there...

then for the people I didn't find there, I could search for the numbers (like I did) in excel. Searching excel, IMO, is a pain comparatively, hence less work = better. #;-}>
