Just downloaded RE5 demo and its GOLD!Cant wait till tha game comes out.Who else is getting it?Does anyone thinks it'll be better than RE4?

To me, the game series has been going down since RE4 due to the lack of horror and lack of creative enemies. But I guess I'll try it out.

I get what your sayin but i disagree that the series is going downhill however it does have less horror but more suspensfull situations.But RE4 has that foggy creepy look but in it but RE5 is in africa,it looks like Chris could have a have a heatstroke running and jumping.Its good as hell tho from what ive seen from the demo.

So being completely swarmed by loads of enemies with limited ammo, an executioner on your tail, only being able to shoot on the spot and real time inventory system doesn't count as 'Survival Horror'?

Pretty obvious what the survival bit is, as for horror, well it should be obvious that it's horror as in dread, your spine tingling as you see that shadow of an axe closing in on you rather than shit-your-pants scary.

The situations that it puts you in are very intense.Like being in tha house with ashly and the other spanish guy(Cant remember his name)And having the Crazed locals come in and try to kill you.That was wayyyyy to badass.

I havent played it on wii but want too.I beat it once on gamecube and twice on PS2.I heard it was wayyy harder on the Wii.

Pfft, the Wii version was way easier. Too much ammo and herbs, aiming was easier, the PRL412 was over-powered, but it was still awesome.

I dunno,I read somewhere that it doesn't have gore and blood violence.

I liked RE4 and RE5 looks good, but i guess i'm a little upset that there won't be any more games like the first three. They were great.

They should make levels where you have to barricade buildings and manage your food and medicine to make it a real survival game.

When you are being swarmed, hard to aim with the teeny laser, and is annoying. :(

At that is why any Wii edition of RE games is best.

Also, I remember reading somewhere that the developers couldn't make a Wii version due to the graphics being too intense... Something like that.

I don't see why they couldn't just reduce the quality of graphics a bit, if that were the case...

we've had zombies in EVERY fuckin RE game until now. RE4 and 5 finally had something different. so i think its an improvement.

It's safe to say that Resident Evil is no longer about the survival horror more but more about the action. I was never a total fan of the series so I don't care as much.

It was fun to play and I can see it being much fun in future with a friend on Co op.

Just a few problems:

1. All the decapitations like the chainsaw or the headstomp were censored for me. Not sure if it was just coincidence. I hope so.

2. Controls... god damn! I want to move! Everything feels so clunky and slow, it especially takes the piss when the developers realised this and thought "hey ok, we'll make the enemies stand next to you doing nothing whilst you sort yourself out."

3. White people! Too many white people! That one arabic guy I kept on seeing is fine.

I'm excited about the game.
