M.u.g.e.n. Help

Earlier today, I was trying to set up Mugen with some characters, and the EVE Screenpack. And apparently the tutorials on Youtube are completely wrong. So I ask you how to do a few things with Mugen

- Add Characters properly
- Add Stages Properly
- Add Screenpacks Properly
- Good Site to find Characters and stages

This might asking a little much so I understand.

My failed method of installing a character

- Download files\folders from internet
- Extract files\folders to chars folder, inside Mugen folder
- Make a new folder, that is inside the copied folder, named the same as DEF folder
- Copy all files inside said folder
- Go to Data
- Go to Select.def
- Write the name of the character under the appropriate line
And ultimately it fails.

So yeah, help.

Ah, well, it seems you did all of it right, but here is what I do.

1) find a character
2)download with WinRAR
3) if isnt a single folder post all contents on desktop
4) make folder based on the character named def
5)cut and paste all contents into folder
6)insert folder into chars
7)go to select.def
8)put the folder name into the select.def

There you go.
