I started track today even though it started Monday but I had the flu. So I joined distance and ran a fartlek run which means you will sprint for a duration the leader will call out while we are running around town.
I really blew as I haven't ran since cross-season and after a sickness I barely could keep up.
Then I had to lift and sadly work on my leg muscles and now I can barely walk.
Awesome.
yeah i had the same problem when i started track but i kept toning my legs and eventually it got better
and im in Long distance too
You guys and your disabilities to run fast for long-distances... after living on the streets for 4 years, you learn how to run fast as hell. Mainly cops and street gangs, lol. We actually don't have many street gangs here, infact I can tell you that I've only seen them 3 or 4 times, I live in a pretty safe town. the worst it can get is the meth-heads.
