I've actually had this idea,where this this guy(don't have a name for him) he was like,4 when his parents were killed by the locust on E-day,then when he was 5 the COG decided they would raise him to be the most badass locust killer ever,so then like,when he's 19,he's finished his training and is assigned to delta squad,and he's got this mask that covers only the bottom half of his face and he's got a pistol,that has it's own mini chainsaw that runs on LOCUST BLOOD.Could you imagine that,he goes up to a downed locust,and then this little spike pops out of the handle of his gun, he jams it into their head,then it draws all the energy out of the locust blood and kills them.
And he's so freaking over powered that he never actually fights with delta,he always scouts ahead or something,then when you beat the game on insane difficulty,you get to play through a second smaller campaign mode as him,all alone,kicking locust ass all over the place.
Man that would be cool.

He has no emotions at all,there can be locust all around him and he'll still look as calm as always,and delta squad hates him because he's so unremorseful and brutal,like at one point,delta squad walks into this room,and the guy is torturing a drone,and marcus is like "wtf?!" and the guy is like "i'm trying to get this drone to tell us where the rest of his group is hiding" and marcus is like "wheres your fucking humanity?! Whats the point of fighting this war if we end up being exactly like these monsters we're fighting against" then the guy is like "fine whatever and he chops the locusts arms off and he's like "there he'll die soon now,happy?" and the marcus shoots the drone in the head to end it's misery.

Have you noticed how the only transport they have is other kind of locusts. and they use only earth technology, and when they first arrived they came out of the ground and not in spaceships. The game will have all the squad members, dying horrible, slow, and painful deaths, one by one. Dom will get executed by a locust higher-up(see what I did there) Baird will get crushed by a drop-pod (because I hate him) Cole will get hit by a train(lol) and then, Clay and Dave Carmine will have an awesome last stand fight against the locust queen or some shit like that. And then Dave and Marcus die. And then Clay is all like, serious face. And then it goes to the credits.

One, there will be a Gears 3. Face it, Epic just won't let this franchise fade when it's still so popular.
Two, Kirby's idea on a personality-less character certainly does fit quite well in the Gears universe. Seriously, Epic needs to give it's characters some more depth. But other than his origin I don't like his idea. Plus the idea of a gun that runs on blood, bad idea. Just not in a quasi-realistic game like GOW.
Three, it will most likely focus on Adam Fenix and the Locust Queen, and possibly reveal some actual details about the "Sires". I just hope they don't pull a stupid stunt like having the queen turn out to be Marcus' mother and do something surprising with the Sires.
I reckon the locust have been down there as the as the humans have been above ground, and now that there are those super juiced up locust that want to kill all the other normal locust, that's why the locust are trying to get to the surface and trap the juiced up locust down below.
The third will explain more about Fenixs' dad and the locust queen (possibly they were a couple as they both knew each other) then other shit happens with blood gore and stuff and the locust die, the end.
