This is my submission for the #SognoChallenge. I reharmonized the main melody from “Sogno di Volare” composed by the legendary Christopher Tin. It’s one of my favorite tracks of all time, so you should definitely take a listen to the original track!

“Sogno di Volare”, or “The Dream of Flight” is the main theme for the simulation game Civilization VI by Sid Meier (I play it too!). The theme gives wonderful expression of humanity and its creation, discovery of science, and specifically, the power of aviation technology. In this version, I would want to call it a sequel. I imagined someone sitting in ISS (or a spacecraft) and looking down at the beautiful Earth and its history of civilization. I changed the key, slowed down the tempo, and gave a slow and chill vibe, but also uplifting and hopeful. Hope you enjoy.

After having months of art block, this fun little project is giving me the positive composer vibe I always wanted. Thank you so much for opening this project, Christopher. I had a lot of fun working on this!
