Hello everyone.
2021 has arrived!! I hope covid finally settles down. 2020 was quite a year haha. This is a little composition I created sometime last year and I decided to post it on here. This song is one of my creations that I am very proud of. Haha, any trained musicians and composers on here would probably say it's an absolute mess haha.
If there are any people out there who has an idea on how I can improve my composing skills then please say something. I am open to any constructive criticism and I would be more than happy to read on what I could do better. I was thinking if i should rather post on youtube or here. I chose Newgrounds because I don't have to create a video haha.
This is the first time sharing my music out to where people can see it. So please don't be too mean. I'm still in my early stages of composing and I still have much left to learn.
Yeah I'm kinda jamming to this right now. It's a good sign with me when - and this is because I find it very difficult to continuously remember what I've just heard when I'm listening to a new melody - I immediately like what I'm hearing on a track like this. I'd love to use something like this in a video game. I can't really describe *what* I like, I just really like it. And there's that one motif that uh... you get it.

Yeah sure, you can use it for whatever you want. If you want, I'd be happy to rearrange it for you. The rest of the song is pretty much filler for that one melody.

Really good. I like the sequel more but this is still nice. I agree with Tin cap in that the melody is super chill and fun to listen to. This may still be your best melody, although I feel sad saying that because this is also your first song. If you look at MY first song it’s hot garbage because I made it WAY before I posted it, and it was part of a series that was spawned because I didn’t have a direction with what to do with my music at that time. I like ranting today it seems; my favorite part of the song is 2:14 to 3:04, it’s just fun to listen to. The outro doesn’t feel like an outro but it’s your first song so it’s fine. Way better than my first song, good job!

Hahahahahaha you think this is my first song?? If only you could see my composition folder on my computer. This is just the first that I put out to the public. First one I felt proud of. Blood sweat and lots of tears came before this piece. And don't feel sad about saying this songs melody is the best so far. I think so too. I came across this melody by complete accident while I was messing around with a timpani. No music thought went into this melody. So I sort of consider it as a one shot wonder in my songs. I'll hopefully create something with a melody who outshines this later in life. I've still got a lifetime to create something better so at the moment i'm just messing with harmonies. Yeah forgive all the bad structuring this was still an early song in my development.
That melody is sooo good! I'm just listening to it over and over again.

Haha yeah, I really love the melody too. I feel like if got the melody today then I'd be able to do much more with it. I'm glad you like it though!
