Very good
I reached 1000 uploads on the Newgrounds Audio Portal! <3 I am most likely the first person to do so, but I'm waiting confirmation from Tom Fulp to announce it "officially".
Here is some backstory:
I have been uploading 100 songs a year since 2011. My cousin just installed FL Studio on my computer when I was 13, and explained VERY little about it. So for the first few years, I was just messing around with FL presets and learning the software one step at a time, translating tutorials I found from English with the level I had at the time.
Don't go back to these years, it's very bad and the work of a kid having fun, lol.
Coincidentally, I reached 100 uploads at the end of 2011, and when I got close to the same number in late 2012 I reached it on purpose and decided I would keep uploading as much music from now on, so I'll be sure I'm getting better at least a bit every month.
I'd say it started getting pretty good around 2018, I learned a lot and I keep doing so, as I'm currently studying computer music. Music is literally what I love most in life, both producing and discovering new stuff. This year alone I listened to about 800 new albums according to the website I use lol. I learned about music theory, mixing and mastering, I explored about every genre I could with the tools I have. and my music is sounding almost professional now.
Now it's been 10 years I've been on this website, and I still love it so much. I discovered so many underrated artists on the Audio Portal (F-777, Goukisan, Waterflame, and so many more. You know what I'm talking about if you're here too.)
So I figured, what better thing could I do for the 1000th upload on my profile than remixing a typical Newgrounds thing: Super Mario Bros Z. I love this series since basically forever, and there's this one opening (Luigi's Theme) that I never could find anywhere else. (if anyone knows where to find it in actual good quality, please feel free to share lol).
So yeah, this is a Hardcore Techno SMBZ remix. You love to see it.
As you may have noticed I never do long descriptions under my tracks, don't really know what to say besides sharing my latest record when it's out. But this one deserved that.
Also here's a little promo: my absolute dream is to make a living by producing music on demand. If you're a content creator, if you make games, videos, or anything that would require music please DM me. I am used to producing with a challenge (I adore it actually) and I'd be happy to help you with any conditons, vibe or whatever you need. I will even make you a temporary song for free with your requirements so you can see for yourself. and we will discuss the rest!
I also have an album on the way, you will find it with most of my releases on my Bandcamp: https://etkmusic.bandcamp.com/

Finally I would like to thank you all, you who have been following me for a while, thanks for your support! Thanks to everyone who has discovered me just recently as well, hope you like what hear and be sure there's always more coming. A huge thanks to Tom Fulp and the rest of the NG staff, that website deserves to be protected forever.
1000 tracks on the Newgrounds Audio Portal feels like a random achievment, but this actually means a lot to me personally, even if nobody cares and this song has 100 views.
Anyways, see you in 2021! For a better year hopefully.
Very good
Thanks!!
It's really nice but the kick drum is a little bit too loud and overshadowing everything else
Thanks for the feedback!!
Congrats on 1000 :)
Thanks!!
congrats! it must feel like yesterday that you posted your first track. you've certainly come a long way since then
this song is a great way to celebrate 1000 songs. i love how thumping it is, with the sidechaining and the eqing on the kick and everything
here's to a better year indeed
Thanks for the kind words <3 I'm glad you like the track!
