I found about this competition on Monday, so I didn't really have much time to prepare, but for what it's worth, I think I did pretty alright. I used samples from the Korg M1 and Roland S50, and compressed them manually, using the C700 VST plugin. I made sure to mix everything down to only 8 voices, which was a terribly limiting sacrifice, as I'm somebody who often relies on chords and polyphony. I didn't get the proper time to think of a cooler melody, or mix the tracks as well as I could've, but I hope you still enjoy this.

I'm very like it! It's heard that it is not finished, it can be better and in general it's short, but this is exactly what I expect from a Japanese arcade/fighting game on the SNES. Awesome work!

.MOD music taught me that in such cases you can always sample not the instrument, but a chords themselves. But I do not know what you were specifically planning, so... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
