Nice introspective vibe going on here. Very chill...Lot's of applications for 'Between Worlds'. Though I must confess, with a title like that, I was expecting a Quake-like theme a la Trent Reznor. Lmao. But instead, I got more of a Square/Enix vibe. I prefer the latter...no offense to Trent or anything. :P

This song was written and performed by yours truly with Ableton Live 10 in 2019, though I didn't finish it at the time. I went back earlier this year and finished it. It was supposed to be a track in my album "Dreams of Mars," from my one-man-band Sleepycat, but was omitted because I thought my guitar playing was bad. Full disclosure, I'm not very good at playing the guitar to begin with. The album actually uses both real guitars and MIDI guitars. I didn't like the song when I first made it, but it's grown on me. Anyways, you're free to download this track and use it however you like. Keen-eared listeners of mine may recognize some melodies in this song. If you don't know, I reuse melodies all the time. I don't know, I guess I'm just weirdly attached to them. They're like phrases in a language that only Bertn understands. What am I talking about? Thank you so much for listening. Pretty nice. Melody was a bit repetitive and the drums could've been a little more varied, but that's fine cause overall it's still pleasant to listen to. Good job :)

Your guitaring is fine. It's backed up by the solid performances of, at least, Formless and Techno Gaiden. If there's more to this piece worth appreciating, then I'm afraid that I am just too pleasantly distracted by the aforementioned trio to notice their inclusion.
