So why did I make this? A couple days ago, I was going through my closet and found this little fun instrument made out of half of a coconut shell. I remember my sister had given it to me as a gift at one point in time. I was playing around with it and then suddenly an idea lit in my mind. I decided to sample the sounds it produced and made it into a virtual instrument using Kontakt. I thought to myself, this sounds very tropical--so I thought it would be interesting to make an all-time favorite video game tune from the 80's.
