Another comedic track heavily influenced by the Benny Hill yakety sax theme. I don't know what it is with this comedic stuff, but it's always much more of a challenge for me than any "serious" work. That said, I find it important to practice writing stuff like this as it tends to be more useful in a scoring context than most "cool" music. There are 3-4 other songs I consciously referenced while working on this (some overt and others more subtly). Can you guess what they are?

Let me know if you want to use this for something. If you're an animator and need music, get at me. Here's my scoring reel.

If you're the audio/visual sort, there's an audio reactive video.

I really wanna use this in GD :(

I really like the smooth, languid feel of the texture and the oom-pah bass line. The little breakdown section at 1:02 is a nice touch, and the goofy character of the piece really puts an image in my mind. Sounds like the soundtrack for a fast-paced circus-themed flash game. It's a little repetitive, and the arrangement could be more creative, but I'm sure that's an intentional mark of loyalty to the genre. Keep it up, SFW! ^^

Thanks! Arrangement-wise I actually just started running out of ideas. I kind of jammed the kitchen sink in there and then ran out of steam. What sorts of things would you think of?

charlie chaplin vibe

This does sound good indeed.

Sounds like a lot of effort :)
