0:00 - Blame

Commentary: Blame represents the longing to move on from past memories. The reason I decided to open Landscapes with this is because, metaphorically speaking, it lays the foundation of what the EP is: a way for me to move away from the style of music of which I've produced for quite some time now. My next project will be completely different than anything I've done before, and Landscapes' sole purpose is to say, "I'm ready to leave everything I've made up until this point behind, and move on."

1:44 - Falling

Commentary: This track was heavily inspired by the Japanese animated film "Weathering With You". To prevent spoilers, I won't get into the details of the story behind this track as it's pretty much just a summary of the film in audio form. I recommend you watch it, then come back to try to piece together each individual section with a key plot point, and let me know what you come up with ^^

6:00 - Cities in the Skies

Commentary: Ah yes, the one Synthwave song on the EP. There isn't too much "lore" to this one, I simply wrote it for the sake of experimentation. Throughout writing this one, I envisioned a futuristic city, covered in pale green and purple neon lights, sitting atop a dark cloud in the night sky. Though a rather simplistic vision, I believe the sheer simplicity made for a serene yet emotional journey of which you embark while listening to this track.

9:00 - Waterworld

Commentary: I wrote this song based on an incredibly vivid dream I once had. It was nothing more than I floating through what seemed like an endless ocean; an ocean that allowed me to escape all of reality and simply ponder about what was burdening my mind at that given moment. I wrote this song to capture that surreal world, giving it a form that can't wither away nearly as fast as a short-term memory lol

11:48 - Silvetia

Commentary: Silvetia is a fictional land, inhabited by what are known as "Silvets". Not much is publicly known about them, though there are a few humans out there who seem to have a connection with them. // This track is dedicated to one of my close friends, SwypeN, who is the creator of Silvet lore, and the whole premise of them in general.
