Sorry for the absence last week, it was super busy and I didn't have time to make anything creative.
Also I ran out of ideas for song names so enjoy shitty names that may or may not reference in jokes with my friends until further notice.
And now about the actual song, it is a remake of something I made in 2015, originally my idea was for it to be a stage theme in a minigame I was planning to add in a bigger game until... well, everything went horribly wrong and the game died. But this track was nice so I felt bad about this just getting lost in time so I remade it, now in glorious faux-chiptune format thanks to the sega genesis soundfont! (I WILL learn to make actual chiptunes eventually I promise, in fact I am learning as we talk, but it will take time, patience).
The idea for this song was to have some sort of early stage theme feeling, being both peaceful and nostalgic yet optimistic and adventurous, I think I managed to capture that feeling.

Thank you! Honestly key changes are an art, they are a concept I love and because of that I used to abuse a lot of them :'D But I'm glad to hear they're actually good now.
As about the instruments, I always thought of it as a weak point I had (partly because I work with limited resources) so it's a pleasant surprise to hear that even if I don't have the best instruments I still make good picks :)
I think your chords and melodies in this are amazing and if you make this into a more full song like more epic kinda orchestral stuff mixed with edm it could be really sick but for a game kinda song it is pretty cool

Actually I have never made edm in my life so I am sure if I tried to make that the results would be awful haha, I've made some few things with orchestral influences but nothing too impressive either.
That said I'm glad you liked it! :D Personally I feel that melodies are my strong point.
