Woo! Plenty of firsts here!

This is my first song of 2020, first upload of 2020, first song of the 2020's, first upload of the 2020's, first fully/decently fledged EDM track I've made, first drumstep track I've made, first true banger I've made, first song whose cover I've illustrated, first song I've released on more platforms than just Youtube, and, most importantly, my first song/upload under this new alias.

I really hope my siblings don't find this channel, but I think that at this point if they do I'm just gonna bite the bullet and watch what I upload, because I HONESTLY (heheh) really like this username and don't want to make another, it's not already taken to my knowledge, and it has funny internet acronym which is quite similar to that of my own name.

Anyways, this song took me two days to make, over the course of ~16-24 hours in total, and it. Was. A. BLAST! We spent the week of Christmas at my grandma's house, and I took some of that time away from my computer to watch some music production tutorials, and what do you know, I learned how to make le epic wubs! Upon getting home, I thought, "Oooh, I wanna make some dubstep now," but due to my undying love for most things drum & bass, my thoughts shifted to drumstep, a hybrid of the two genres. When I first got the wubs going for the first drop, I was HELLA pumped, and so, still uncertain of a final title for the song, I renamed the file from "DrumstepMaybe" to "Oh Yeah Woo Yeah Drumstep Babey," as that was my emotion at that time, and it still kinda is now. This song turned out GOOD. It's so much better than almost anything I've made so far, and definitely far better than anything I've released up until this point. Aside from the drops, I particularly like the little future bass bits right after them, as well as that revving up sounding synth right before the first drop. Those parts were super fun to make as well. Making the cover was quite an adventure, too. Don't fear, I didn't make an amateur illustration in ms paint, I made it in Photoshop. Of course, given the song title, I had to include the groovin dudes in the art, as you can see throughout the field. I hope you guys enjoy listening to this song as much as I enjoyed making it!
