Jesus man 12 minutes and change!

Your open, though low and drowning in reverb is interesting. Its a guitar I here, but it's so dull it's really hard to hear the chords. I play myself and I know how hard a good guitar take is, but you need to run a louder line with a preamp and work in post.

You know, with a rhythm section this could be some very early joy division or grateful dead. I would be interested in working with you on this, refine it and really get a track going. You're missing a menacing doom bass with a simple bass snare 1 2 pattern. If you redid this, with a better line in, a tad less reverb. Compressed and brightened eq, with a metronome you really could have something. Pm if you fancy working with me.

I'm actually currently working on getting a preamp, the lack of one has limited several things. That said, the intro was barely grazed with finger picking on purpose to produce a muted and eerie beginning.

Aside from that you're more or less right on every point and i'm a terrible composition musician, but i sort of enjoy seeing where i can go and what i can do with single tracks and single takes, developing styles from it.

Thank you for the insights and the offer, though i'll have to decline, i am glad you enjoyed what it did bring to the table.
