It's been a while, huh?

I decided for my school project, I would mix two 70's things together, and looking at it, both video games and "Mamma Mia!" first came to be popular in the 70's, so why not mix them?

Please note that I do not own "Mamma Mia"; it is property of ABBA, and is written by Benny Andersson, Björn Ulvaeus, and Stig Anderson, I am simply remixing this and in no way am I to credit for any melodies found in this track.

Per the Review for Review Thread:

In accordance with many of the reviews I conduct on this website, I will be going over what I like on the song and then transition into the things that I think could be improved.

Firstly, what I really like about this song is the chord that you used for this song. You were able to make the song into a version that really feels like a video game song, and I think that's commendable by itself. It sounds like you also paid close attention to the chords being used in the song, which means you have a great ear for listening.

Secondly, what I think is also important is the diversity of synths that you have utilized for this song. It keeps it interesting while retaining the interest of the original song, which is good. Because a song that old would be hard to import as a MID file, it's pretty easy that you did the work to make the song from scratch.

Now for the items of improvement:

Watch out for some of the frequencies with some of the synths that you are using. While they are not too sharp, it feels borderline hard to listen to with the main melody, and I would suggest detuning the 3xOsc (if that's the synth you are using) to make it more bearable to listen to.

Additionally, the one thing I really want to see in remixes is how are you making the remix your own or giving it your own touch to make it more interesting than the original song? While the intent may have been to keep it as close to the original as possible, it feels too safe to be interesting vs. actually listening to the original song.

Hopefully that helps!
