-No feeling like it-
With a loud thud Chill drops his back and heads for his seat. He never was the 'hands on' type of guy. Why get your fingers dirty when a hack turret can get the job done for you with no one even thinking about trying to trace the hack?
Chill sighs as he drops in to his leather chair that he bought from Doc Johnson a few days ago. A hundred nuyen well spent. He reaches behind the chair to grab the data cable by the gold plated jack. Chill could already 'feel' the stream of data send goosebumps up and down his spine. He would never admit it before the others, but the sensation of jacking in gave him quite the rush. Chill inhales one last time before plugging the jack in to the cleanly implanted data socket. Not having to worry about money when you're the best decker around surely helps with getting the high end tech.
Chill's vision goes dark the moment the jack snaps in to the socket, his vision filled first with flashes of color, then utter darkness, before scripts kick in and run the usual VPM and IP20 routines. The scripts finish with a satisfying jingle and everything fades to white. All the while any sense of up and down is lost for the briefest of moments. Usually people pay to not 'feel' this, but for Chill it was like a drug. The feeling of floating for those few seconds. Nothing quite like it.
"You in yet?" A female voice barks in to Chill's ear as her vidcom takes up the upper left corner of his vision. "Didn't I say to be quick?!" She continues seemingly agitated by the fact that Chill didn't check in by now. "Don't kill my vibe... You know how I work... I'm in...." He replies and sighs deeply before having his avatar metaphorically 'crack it's fingers'... "Time to work."
