Finally some Pokémon after a while. I need to get more stuff done with this series because, good lord, there are a lot of good stuff to remix and work on! Especially in Pokémon Black!

In this remix I tried to keep a (even) more chill and upbeat tone, being in line with the original track. I think the clarinets, acoustic guitar and the rhodes really sell the chill idea while the jazz drums and electric guitars really sell the upbeat part. I just wish I could come up with something more to give it more originality to this piece.

I also tried to use the idea of slowly adding more instruments to the music as it plays. It really gives it a progressive feel and it emulates what you can do with some npcs in the top house in Accumula Town and with other npcs in other cities in Unova. That is a touch in the games I appreciate and always go out of my way to talk to the npcs to make the other instruments play when I'm playing the generation five games.

The namesake of this one is a mix of the english name of the town with the japanese slogan for it: "生い茂る ツルは 繁栄の証" ('Thick ivy is proof of prosperity'). This is also what inspired the visuals in the cover of this track, with Snivy being a pokémon being closely related to the ivy mentioned in the slogan.
