Bowen is a sequel to Hypnagogia, a pretty boring track I included in my first ep ever, Slumbering in Hypnagogias. It was supposed to be named as Hypnapompia but the plans changed when the whole rope-themed ep idea kicked in. Bowen was first of the bunch and its production started off before other songs in the ep. It was initially supposed to be released as a single but it was included in the ep when couple more tracks started to have some potential to make a collection.

Bowen is the embodiment of my mysterious styles. It's got everything cryptic songs of Jacques Melissa has: strange melodies, scattered and looping elements, mellow pads and seamless progression through the whole track.
