This is a remix of "Paradigm Shift" a music made for Final Fantasy XIII-2 originally composed by Naoshi Mizuta.

Back when I made this one I've been hanging out with some friends that loved to repost this music over and over again in their chat on Skype. They reposted it as a joke, but to me the music was pretty great.

The title even references one of the people who used to repost the song on that chat, since, at the time, he was the guy who obtained a World Record speedrun in Yu-Gi-Oh! Forbidden Memories. That's where the word "Record" used in the title comes from.

After a couple of relistens and after finding a "daycore" mix (pretty much a "vaporwave" version of the song) of Paradigm Shift on Youtube I felt like this would be a good source for making a remix. I tried giving it a more triumphant transition between the verses and the choruses to make it fit better with one the ideas that inspired the remix. It was a very small edit, but I think it made all the difference.
