This was nice

So this was nice work you have some good vibe running across the board here on this one and the drum style is notbad I do think some more variety could be added like deep and fast tones but more in some type of build up method just an idea though the melody here was really good and I had fun with the sound work you are putting out so nice job here I hope to see what your next big piece of work here

~~THINGS TO IMPROVE ON~~
More mixture and various drum sounds would be nice

~X~

The eerie crash-equivalent at the beginning sounds cool, and gives way to a quirky atmosphere with the clock-ticking FX really smoothly. I like the bouncy synths at :21, and the panning on the sweeps and crashes was a nice touch. You do overuse the sweeps and crashes after a time, though. The melodic content at :55 was nice, and the mix here is really loud. A bit too much reverb, perhaps, but the climax into 1:16 is well done. The breakdown at around 1:40 sounds a little indistinct, but the quirky, frantic synth patterns at 1:45 are great, and they’re followed up by a lush melody at 2:05 that sits really well in the mix. Nice job tying this piece together with the final refrain, although the transition at 2:44 is a bit sudden. Overall, this is a well-structured and feel-good piece with a lot of cool melodic content, synths, and effects. My main concerns are that the excessive reverb is compromising the quality of the mix and that elements of the harmonic content sound a tad generic. Otherwise, keep up the good work, Equinaga! ^_^

Really interesting use of FX through this piece. Sounds like it was mixed too loud or some of your samples are clipping though. I start to notice it at 0:31, and it continues throughout.

Now, that aside, melodies are interesting, and despite sounding a bit blown out from being mixed too loud, the piece still holds together. However, because of how loudly mixed the other instruments are, when your drop hits at 01:18, it's almost impossible to hear your bass and breakbeat. Take that lead and those pads down some dB.

1:47, there's that clipping again, this time in the bass, and not when anything else is peaking. This tells me individual tracks may have been rendered too loud.

2:19 is almost brick wall compressed at 0. Getting a bit of a head-hurt sensation here.

Otherwise, strong melodies, and I still enjoyed the piece despite serious mix/mastering issues. I definitely recommend taking some time to look at tutorials for your DAW. You've got great writing, good use of modulation, and a solid sense of progression. Work on your mixing, and you've got the skills to be a pro.

Thanks for coming out to NGUAC!

Hey, pretty nice work :D

I think this is a lovely little song. The synths and such sound pleasant and never sound harsh like a lot of other sounds in this genre. I can picture this in Sonic Mania, which is pretty high praise if you ask me. Fantastic work making this.

Keep it up :)
