I feel burnt out as a result of putting so much effort into my music over the past few weeks, so I decided to have fun with this one and not fret over minor details. I hope you enjoy it!

Woah! You've been active in a bunch of music contests recently, huh? I like the crickets at the beginning and the cute melodies at :07. The more foreboding mood at :12 is cool, too. The sound design (especially the percussion samples) are really cool with this one, even if they sound a tad atonal at times. The violin once again is beautiful, and the piece has a lot of ebb and flow in the composition, which is nice. My main complaint here is that the piece is too short, really. :) I can totally see this as a video game level in some cutesy platformer with a "lost in the woods, discovering a hidden world" sort of theme. Piece really puts an image in my head. Keep up the good work, BO!

So heading right into the piece, I love the atmospherics. There's no way mine will compete with yours once it comes out, that I will say for certain. I really enjoy it... except for one thing that badgers me from 0:12 onward: the VST and sound choices. I like the atmospheric sounds, but the rest of the instruments, compared to what you usually make, sound thin. With a theme like what this has, where the forest can be big and booming, and especially with what I have heard from you in the past, this just seems too thin. To me, that's really the only nitpicky thing that I have with this, but it kinda works out at 0:43. Still, though, I feel like there could have been more than what was simply provided on the surface, something to make the forest seem big and full. That being said, I kinda like the ending from 1:15 onward, reminds me a bit of some stuff I have listened to before. Overall, pretty good job on this :)
