Took 5 hours to complete this song.
DAW: FL Studio 20

I tried my best to make all the synth sounds in this song. The only sounds that aren't mine is the piano, drums, and impacts.
I've been making music for about 1 and a half years. Please give some feedback as my mixing and mastering is trash.
If you're wondering why it says Zelthyk remix, that's my alias.

Thank you so much for responding dude. I have alot of better songs that are on this account now. mannnn i cant believe you're here
ps. i might re-remix this, i love the song and as i'm better now i think the new remix would be at a much higher quality

Pretty good! The only thing I don't like is the stock FL Studio drums

Chliz responds:

I didnt use stock FL drums :P

So I got to say a couple of things. Firstly, I really enjoyed it. This is my type of jam. It's so full and warm and it sounds like a mainstream track. I was impressed.

What I do have to say though, and it's not about the mixing since that point has already been made. What I do need to point out is the composition. I want to make a pie chart of the different notes that lead synth hits, and point to how often you keep pounding that B trying to bash it into my skull. I bet it would take up a good 80% of that chart. I may have exaggerated my point, but I do have a small pet peeve when I hear songs that repeat the same pitch consistently because then my focus is taken away from listening to the song to listening to that note.

But please don't let that take away from how much I enjoyed that. This was great. I liked the sound and it was so warm.

Chliz responds:

Thx! On my next song I'll try mixing up the chords and melodies.

Really nice! If you want a tip for mixing, make sure you get rid of unwanted frequencies in a sound using EQ so it doesn't interfere or "fight" with your other sounds. If done right, your sounds/samples will sound more clear and cleaner because there are not as many different sounds playing at the same frequency. (I hope this makes sense to you?) For example, if some of the lead frequencies are interfering with the bass, it will make the bass sound less clear because it's "fighting" with your bass frequencies to "sound out" and the same thing with the bass frequencies fighting with the lead frequencies. If you eliminate the unnecessary frequencies with EQ (because your lead doesn't need low freq and most of the time your bass doesn't need high freq) it will sound cleaner. Sorry if my explanation is not that clear to you, I think you should be able to find a better explanation somewhere else. But I really liked this song, keep up the good work! :)

Chliz responds:

I understand, for now on I'll focus on cutting equalizing correctly. Thanks for the review!
